Stephen joined Fairtree in 2011 and is currenly an Equity Strategist assisting with the Fairtree Assegai Long Short Equity Fund, Fairtree Equity Prescient Fund and the Fairtree Balanced Precient Fund. He began his Asset Management career in 1997 as an industrial analyst with Southern Asset Management. In 2000, he joined RMB Asset Management as an analyst. He progressed to head of Resources Research until the end of 2009 and then moved permanently into portfolio management of institutional and retail portfolios. Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stellenbosch Business School and is a CFA® charterholder.
