Project Management and Business Development Executive. The experience has included 20 years in Senior Management Positions with well known Multi National Project Organisations including Rolls-Royce and Pratt and Whitney - developing and managing turnkey EPC and O&M Aftermarket services to the Global Energy Sector clients. Latterly these roles were focused on new Business Development to establish a presence and routes to market within the Asia Pacific Region. The roles have been diverse project positions encompassing the ability to take high-value projects through from Project Pursuit, Tendering, Execution, Aftermarket to contract closure. These Senior roles have all been with Project Organisations and have been based in various countries which have included England, India, Singapore and Australia. The projects have been located across the globe and Steve has worked successfully across a diverse range of cultures. The project management responsibilities have straddled all areas of the project lifecycle and included all project functions including but not limited to Business and Project Strategy, Management of Risk, Finances & Cost, Supplier, Scope, Schedule and Resource, Commercial and Change.I recently completed his Doctorate at UWA focussed on improving Project Management approaches related to high-value construction projects. He recently qualified with an MBA from UWA to complement an existing MSc. in I.T. and BA with Honours in Business and Finance from UK Institutions. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), a member of the Project management Institute (MPMI) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers (MAIPM). I currently works as a Unit Coordinator of Project Management courses at the University of Western Australia and undertakes adviser and consultancy services in the project management domain in various business sectors.
