As a Senior Manager of the Ventures Division, I was a member of CHST's internal consulting team primarily focusing on new business development, market analyses, strategic planning, and growth opportunities for the organization.I was promoted to Senior Manager after being in the role of Manager of Business Development for approximately 14 months.I frequently assisted with the creation of business plans and growth strategies for CHST, and helped with the development of presentations for Senior Executives.

As a Manager of Business Development for CHST, I assisted the Directors of Business Development with market analyses, research, pro forma development and strategies for new growth opportunities. I assisted the Senior Vice President of Business Development on two major projects during my time as Manager: 1. The acquisition of Our Children's House from Baylor Scott & White Health 2. The implementation of a pediatric inpatient unit within Methodist Richardson Hospital. Both projects required a high degree of organization and project management skills to ensure all customers needs were met and the outcomes of both were successful.

As a Financial Analyst II, I was a member of the Strategic Financial Services Division with Baylor Scott & White Health. My primary responsibilities included managing the benchmarks (Action OI) and statistics for the entire organization. I helped to implement the processes and procedures of benchmarking to the Scott & White facilities after the merger was finalized between Baylor Health Care System and Scott & White Health.My second major role with Baylor Scott & White Health was as a Hospital Financial Analyst with Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. Primary responsibilities in this position were assisting with the five year plan / strategic forecasting and completing the annual budget for the hospital.

As a Data Management Coordinator, I helped ran and developed reports for the Director of Business Operations of the Carolinas Medical Center Transplant Center. Primary responsibilities included: data mining and modeling, development of an emergency preparedness plan, and other ad hoc reports as needed for mid to senior level management. As an Accountant II for Carolinas HealthCare System, I assisted the Physician Services Group with month end / quarterly reports and making sure that numbers and statistics were accurate prior to close.

As an intern at Carolinas Medical Center, I assisted the VP of Administration with multiple projects and reports as required for the Masters of Health Administration program I was enrolled in at the time. She oversaw Transplant, Endoscopy, and Transport (among other responsibilities) and this provided me with great experience and insight into the day to day operations of a healthcare executive.
