I am currently a third-year student at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and a pharmacy intern at Publix Pharmacy. I have been a Publix Pharmacy intern since February 2022 and during my time there I have served a wide variety of patients. I enjoy spending time in the pharmacy where I get the chance to serve the Gainesville community and help our patients to the best of my abilities. While I enjoy the direct patient interaction that I experience in the world of retail pharmacy, my end goal is to pursue a career in pediatric pharmacy. I have spent numerous hours shadowing and working on a clinical rotation at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola where I have gained experience in the pediatric pharmacy. The chance to help children have a better opportunity in life seems very rewarding to me and I am excited to see what the future holds for me.At the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, I have been involved in several student organizations. My main involvement is with Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International where I have served as the President-Elect in 2022-2023 and currently serve as the President. I am also involved in Gator Pharmacy Wellness where I am acting as a fitness co-chair and the Student Society of Health-Systems Pharmacy where I am a general body member.Prior to entering pharmacy school, I attended the University of Florida where I achieved my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, specializing in Biotechnology, from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences in 2021. I am the first in my family to achieve a degree from the University of Florida and now I am a member of a new family of hundreds of thousands of UF alumnus. Go Gators!
