Tech Lead - Vocabulary, Taxonomy, and Ontology TeamOwned the planning, development, and operation of all software systems (both web frontend and backend) in the tagging and taxonomy domain at Pluralsight. I lead the software development team in setting project requirements and designing system architecture. I plan and choose technology stacks for our projects, enforce best practices, and set code review standards to ensure the team quickly and successfully delivers new products and features.Our largest application is built with Python and the Django Web Framework, though we also have a node js backed for isomorphicly rendering our react application and serving a graphql api we are phasing in. On the front end we are building a React application and also maintain a legacy Angular application in production .We use Github Enterprise for version control, vagrant for development environments, Travis CI for build automation and test running, and Amazon Web Services with Ansible for deployment. We monitor our applications with New Relic Application monitoring.
