After attending The University of Houston's esteemed Moore's School of Music as a classical cellist, Stephen Chavez decided to venture into the family business. He is the son of national radio promoter Steve Chavez (WMG, UMG) and the nephew of legendary talent manager & CEO of Latium Ent. Charles Chavez (Pitbull, MAGIC!) While working as a recording engineer and producer in Houston, TX, he has worked with Kirko Bangz, Pitbull, Lil Boosie, UGK, Talib Kweli, Play n Skillz, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, & many more which would eventually lead him to co-found Establishing Artist Repertoire (EAR Recordings) with fellow engineer/producer J. Lacy (Kirko Bangz, Fetty Wap, T-Wayne.) It would be the varied success that EAR would eventually achieve helping A&R Kirko Bangz, getting several local artists on the radio, and building a great network throughout the southern region that would land Chavez a job at Latium/RCA in Los Angeles, CA. As an A&R turned social media guru, Stephen helped to manage social initiatives for Pitbull, MAGIC!, and Latium Entertainment.2 years later and running EAR & Wormhole Records (Empire), a brand new owner of Satellite Bar, and bringing some of the hottest parties to Houston; he is now executive producing & managing Abrina along with Brian Samson (Empire), consulting Detroit’s Farrah Mechael & Dallas’ Imaj, and the social media specialist and promoter for Abrina, Imaj, Satellite Bar, Still Tippin' HTX, ADTRHTX, & Steamboat Ampworks.
