I am currently a senior in the College of Engineering at Cornell University. I am pursuing a major in Computer Science, along with a minor in Music. I have experience in programming languages such as Java and Python. I am currently looking for internships within programming and computing for Summer 2020, preferably in the fields of systems or software engineering.Technology and computing is a practical approach to problem-solving. If creative ideas are the basis of innovation, then programming creates the foundation. My goal as a Computer Science major is to solve problems. If an idea will bring about positive change, I believe I must work towards seeing that idea through. As an aspiring software developer, I wish to create solutions to problems that will allow innovative ideas to fulfill their potential.In my free time, I am a performing musician, meeting with group members and spending time writing and composing music as part of the Cornell University Jazz Program. Playing music is something that has enhanced my life and instilled within me the principles of hard work and constant effort. Through playing music, I have expanded my creativity and solidify my discipline.All in all, no matter what obstacles I may find, I believe that I will always overcome them.
