Leading the strategy, planning, architecture, development, release, and operations of Boston University IS&T's central application and data integration services team, and the strategy, planning, and evolution of IS&T's central QA Center of Excellence, focused on implementing modern practices for test automation and industry standard best practices.

• Led the re-organization of IS&T's central Integration Services team to scale for growth as integrations of most new systems are implemented in the iPaaS. • Eliminated management headcount while expanding developer team by four and architecture team by one, with a technical-first working leadership model.• Implemented agile SDLC practices with industry standard tools to facilitate self-service task management and leadership by senior-level developers. • Implemented numerous operational process improvements to align with ITIL standards and support operations at scale for a development team simultaneously responsible for operational support and net-new development.

• Lead the development, release, and operations of the university wide, iPaaS based application and data integration service.• Build, manage, and mentor a high performing integration team.• Collaborate with technical managers and senior leadership to define the evolution of the university's enterprise integration strategy.• Drive the definition and evolution of development and release processes within the integration services team.• Ensure the delivery of integrations in support of critical university initiatives with technical oversight along with hands-on technical activity, including the development of integration pipelines using JavaScript, Python, SQL, JSON, XML, REST and SOAP.

• Led the implementation of a SaaS parking permit management solution to automate ingress/egress into parking lots, reduce administrative overhead and provide annual labor cost savings.• Managed the $2 million replacement of the university’s legacy SAP Supplier Relationship Management system with Ariba’s Buying & Invoicing cloud suite, delivered on time and 5% under budget. • Led the implementation of a new electronic medical record system in 59 days to support the university’s COVID-19 re-opening plan for the Fall 2020 semester. Agile implementation focused on a minimum viable product for HL7 integration to a lab management system, SAP HCM integration, daily attestations, case management and contact tracing.• Managed the rollout of EMR functionality to support the university's COVID vaccination efforts. Agile implementation focused on delivering a minimum viable product to deliver value and baseline functionality, expanded in subsequent weeks in close collaboration with university medical leadership.• Managed a software development project to expand the university’s in-house benefits enrollment application to include IRS-eligible qualifying life events, a feature not available in the marketplace. Solution included a new back-end workflow application for HR staff to verify submitted documentation.• Led the RFP and implementation of a new secure board document management application for the Board of Trustees and University President.

• Managed the implementation of a comprehensive, custom-developed employee benefits portal in SAP UI5 using Design Thinking. Per pre and post user surveys, application more than doubled employee satisfaction and ease of use scores. Honorable mention for 2019 SAP Innovation Award.• Managed the implementation of a Next Generation Firewall in the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory (NEIDL), one of only fifteen biosafety level-4 laboratories in the United States.• Led the rollout of a university-wide sexual harassment training to 10,000 faculty and staff.

• Led project to align business processes and implement a university-wide electronic document repository for graduate student records across seventeen decentralized graduate admissions offices.• Managed the development and implementation of an electronic visa document processing workflow, serving over 2,000 incoming international graduate students annually.• Managed the RFP and implementation of a university-wide travel risk management platform for the Office of Global Programs, covering over 3,000 students studying abroad per year.• Recovered and successfully delivered an off-track project implementing changes to the university’s Academic Data Warehouse and Student Information System to accommodate changes in the SAT and ACT scoring models, supporting both the admissions process and university reporting.

• Implemented a Service Desk Operations Command Center to balance workload distribution, manage agent training and control access provisioning. Increased collaboration with desktop support and classroom AV support to improve SLA performance across all support services.• Oversaw two-day training and five-day support operation for School Opening 2013, 2014, and 2015, supporting the move-in of over 12,000 students onto campus while strategically deploying coverage based on move-in data, reducing student payroll expenses by 33 percent. • Implemented a new operational model for the recruitment, hiring and management of student employees. Managed a rolling roster of approximately fifty part-time student employees.• Awarded HDI New England Analyst of the Year (2013).

Provided tier-1 technical support for IS&T services to the Boston University community, comprised of 33,000 students and 9,900 faculty & administrative staff. Trained, mentored and supervised junior student employees.
