Led team of user experience (UX) architects, UI designers, mobile developers, and business/product analysts responsible for building our digital roadmap and delivering enhancements to the belk.com and mobile app digital experience. Oversaw the redesign, replatform, and launch of belk.com, Belk mobile app, and thelimited.com. Defined and prioritized ongoing work of 4 IT delivery teams, working with resources both on site and internationally.• Drove launch of TheLimited.com (now decommissioned) in record 3 months and hired and developed a full team to maintain site• Led adoption of agile methodologies to business and development teams• Established processes and templates for holiday readiness events, working with IT Support teams to ensure production issues were immediately addressed in order to save customer sessions and sales during peak traffic and events

Worked on MCB Camp Lejeune as Quality Control Supervisor and Team Leader for an environmental and ordnance avoidance contract on range G-10. Led team of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) technicians and vegetation removal personnel in the successful clearance of the range prior to construction operations.

Worked on Camp Butner, a formerly used WW2 defense site and active Army National Guard installation in Butner, NC, as a contracted Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) technician and team leader. Responsible for organizing teams of technicians and maintaining project schedule with daily reporting to senior management. Accomplished ordnance clearance of hundreds of acres of privately-owned property, ensuring future safety of all residents and visitors in the area.

Worked on Camp Garcia, a formerly used defense site on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico as a contracted Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) technician and team leader. Responsible for organizing teams of technicians and vegetation specialists and maintaining project schedule with daily reporting to senior management. Also worked on MCB Quantico in Virginia as UXO team leader to facilitate the remediation of several active FBI and Marine Corps ranges.

Graduated Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) School in July 2004. Assigned to the 20th Civil Engineering Squadron at Shaw AFB in Sumter, South Carolina. Supervised and trained five junior technicians. Provided Secret Service VIP support across the country for the President and Vice President of the United States as well as for foreign dignitaries. While stationed at Shaw AFB, was responsible for supplies and logistics for a 25-man unit as well as for an explosives and ammo account containing $1M in inventory. Owned budget and tracking of gear and supplies and oversaw training program for junior airmen to ensure proficiencies. Served in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in 2005 where I was responsible for the success of disarming or detonating 100+ roadside IED's as well as clearing numerous enemy weapons caches during both day and night missions.

Aided in the supply chain planning and operations for plant orders heading to large corporations (i.e. Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, Harris Teeter) in over 20 states. Developed logistical and management skills by coordinating truck routes and loading diagrams. Also learned to speak Spanish at a conversational skill level.

Responsible for sales in the small electronics and 12-volt mobile electronics departments. Assisted in the Circuit City Roadshop with minor installation jobs and customer service issues when needed. Achieved top sales numbers in the department on a consistent basis. Developed and refined skills in sales, customer service, written and verbal communication, and building rapport.
