As a Corporate Accounts Manager for Microsoft Corporation’s Los Angeles County area, Stephen Costigan is responsible for business development, sales and marketing around Microsoft’s enterprise products. Stephen and his team of seasoned technical evangelists drive to deliver business value to Microsoft’s customers and partners with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, partner engagement, strategic competitive focus, team moral, marketing scalability and community relations.

During Stephens time as a Corporate Accounts Manager in Manhattan, Stephen managed the legal vertical where he helped reshape the legal industry’s perception of cloud based services. Stephen acted as an advocate for data security and in collaboration with Microsoft product groups, defined new data encryption scenarios, which ultimately led many of the firms to move to Microsoft cloud solutions.

Stephen was an account manager in Microsoft’s Corporate Territory Managed space, where he was responsible for 400 accounts and a $37 million dollar business. During his time in this position, he exceeded plan every year. Stephen also developed the ECI Unsolicited Proposal Program, which became a globally recognized program and was directly responsible for influencing Microsoft’s sales desk proposal service. Stephen’s program drove hundreds of new agreements and over $4 million in additional revenue across the east region in FY12 alone.

Stephen managed a team of SharePoint Infrastructure Architects at Sogeti/CapGemini, where he helped drive revenue and develop the organization through thought leadership, establishing go-to-market strategies, supporting his team as a subject matter expert (SME), maintaining key account relations and working with practice delivery teams in strategy development for maintaining and growing the business.

Stephen’s career started at Massey Knakal Realty Services, acquired by Cushman Wakefield, where he was the Director of Information Technology. During this time, he managed a team of developers, building custom applications to reduce the time to market for new building listing packages and helped Massey Knakal dramatically improve profitability and scale to over 5,000 brokers across New York.
