Research Analyst
Current• Retrieve and process demographic and market-related data from multiple data partners and clients.• Conduct research and analysis on various aspects of financial industry trends, consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.• Create standard report tables and data visualizations (including maps) for project deliverables using QGIS, Python, R, and Excel.• Contribute to report analysis alongside senior consultants by identifying key data patterns, trends, and insights, and providing meaningful interpretations and recommendations.• Developed a Python command line application that streamlines the processing, categorization, analysis, and visualization of market-level deposit data which ultimately provides an overview of the competitive dynamic and relative performance of major banks, small banks, and credit unions within the study area.
