Responsible for the receiving, storage and timely supply of all assembly production materials. Managed a combination of direct employees and a number of Logistics Service Provider contracts. Successfully completed a re-tendered main Service Provider contract that delivered a 28% cost saving on a multi-million Pound (Sterling) contract with no loss in service or standards. Managed a major civil project, replacing the entire floor of a warehouse without any disruption to production or impact on quality. The project was delivered on time and within budget.  Increased delivery performance and space utilization by developing IT solution to organize optimum delivery of sequenced material to the production line fit points.  Coordinated with UK and US Customs to achieve both Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certification, allowing the plant to operate its Customs processes with greater autonomy and freedom.
