Leading our global Cloud Platform team as we transitioned Jira and Confluence from data centers to AWS, built out a set of shared components, and led the transformation to cloud native practices.

Responsible for many engineering teams in more than 10 locations around the world. The application and systems teams include real-time data infrastructure, data warehouse, public facing APIs, application routing, release engineering and tools as well as managing acquired teams supporting full stack platforms around the world.

Initially responsible for taking an R&D project around ARM virtualization to a full product. Grew a local team in Boston, integrated an acquired team in France and worked closely with Product Management in Palo Alto. We created a highly innovative Android solution based on virtualization that resulted in partnerships with Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola and other OEMs as well as major carriers like Verizon. Our software was integrated with OEM handset builds to ship on day 1 devices as well as applications available via Google Play. The team also built a highly technical solution for iOS based on binary inspection and rewriting of iOS applications as well as enterprise management software build for on-premise delivery. The team filed over 30 patents in 3 years, were regular attendees at major mobile conferences and shipped multiple 1.0 products as well as pre-release R&D initiatives.

Responsible for the management of the team responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting Change Control Automation tools for EMC's Customer Service organization and external partners. The tool was instrumental in allowing CS to significantly increase the number of supported devices without linearly increasing support staff.

Senior member of application development team responsible for workflow application managing > 2000 customer activities per week. Primary automation tool used to manage EMC's Customer Service field operations. Mainly working with C++, COM, SQL Server, Windows OS, JScript as well as designing and supporting the production environments. The application was a new application designed and built from ground up.
