Provide support in the development of new products. Lead implementation of technical improvements. Coordinate filling line trials on customer sites. Respond to customer inquiries related to equipment performance issues. Audit customer equipment and process for impediments resulting in reduction in filing speed, damage to cans or ends and unsafe double seam quality. Performs quality engineering activities as requested, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns. Conducts and participates in continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance and part quality (such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.). Develops training to build and sustain process awareness. Conducts audits, creates report, determines proper corrective and preventive actions. Analyzes equipment failure, machine tooling, corrective, and preventative action to respond to customer complaints and creates/maintains documentation, such as equipment manuals, troubleshooting procedures, routine double seam inspections, etc. with the engineering, operations, and plant staff on quality-related matters. Participates in evaluating customer claims. 70% Travel to customer locations for routine visits and equipment support.

Primary focus relates to can seams, and seamer equipment. In addition CES provides training, and staffing support. CES interacts with onsite staffing and process operations to ensure that we exceed Customer expectations.

Metal beverage container manufacturing equipment control, production process control, vision system control, . Primary focus relates to can end manufacturing technologies. An SOT can end subject matter expert (SME) with in-depth experience in high speed press tooling applications , coatings, and various metal container decoration applications including in process laser incising. •Troubleshooting and repair of high-speed production equipment. Possessing a solid foundation in high speed commercial use of Formatec, Bruderer , Minister, and Bliss Presses. Additional competencies with Crown, Grace , and Preferred compound liners. •Vision System Control Design and troubleshoot product quality image scans for monitoring dimensional characteristics of in process parts and finished products. Familiar with Pressco and Applied vision system through multiple applications. • Diagnostic test equipment controlSencon,Trac, and Altec systems performing routine and complex set-up, preventative maintenance, repair and modification.
