    Sadly teeth whitening does not form part of a dental educational degree in Australia. Therefore this highly sort after treatment (or product) comes with lots of unknowns.Whilst there are some online sources, books and evidenced base studies there is very little to help or support dentists and their teams. They are very much left to their own devices, or manufacturers guidelines which is a high risk strategy.Unfortunately the demand for teeth whitening continues to see huge growth which leaves the public (patients) exposed to buying products that simply do not work or are incredibly dangerous. With over 400 dental practice visits and 2000 odd telephone interviews in Australia I unearthed a myriad of problems. Whilst it is no ones faults dental practices are unknowingly offering treatments that do not meet their patients high expectations.This leads to poor results and a lack of confidence.I took it upon myself to build an easy to follow training program, 'The Expert Whitening Secrets' which can be delivered either online via Zoom or face to face. It helps dentist to fully understand whitening and become experts.During this 75 minute training and strategy session which consists of 5 key modules I address the clinical aspects of teeth whitening to ensure that dentist are able to deliver consistently WOW results, with less sensitivity.In modules 3 & 4 where we cover both physical and online marketing I demonstrate to practices how they can identify which patients are considering whitening their teeth and then how to convert them into paying patients. And whist there are STILL some unscrupulous scoundrels selling direct to the public even today, that domain is one that is quite rightly occupied by the dental practice.My game plan changed and yet when i studied the dental market place for teeth whitening, guess what - it appears that everyone seems to know about teeth whitening, but few understand it.I don't mean the chemical side of how teeth are bleached. Teeth whitening is one of the most researched cosmetic dental treatments covered, and it has been proven to be save and very effective - there are literally thousand of clinical studies. I mean how to utilise the best bleaching protocols, selecting the correct bleach for the right patient. Making the best and highest quality whitening trays, working with a dental practice to hep the patience with compliance so they can enjoy WOW, results meeting all their expectations.The multi award winning Boutique Whitening in 2019 and 2020 (voted by Private Practice) is now widely available in Australia, sold only directly to dental practices. It included arranging hotel accommodation, conference facilities, meeting rooms, oversaw every course lecture and presented in the lectures. He organised our internal travel and movement of the considerable amount of freight we bring with us, Liaised with the UK team and myself to fully understand the entire process on the back end and duplicate in Oz, Set all pricing at cost and retail required to compete well, Managed what was required of a lab on site in Oz, Initiated a backup plan to the lab in case they let us down, He made sure email campaigns were designed and implemented, and website copy written,He set up a full accounting system to keep track of orders and invoicing,He was in contact with many dentists immediately (nobody he knew, he just made friends) to test out ideas, marketing and our offering. In addition to this, 9 months from the start date he had nearly 200 dentists booked in 5 locations from scratch.  He had a plan to follow them up after the seminars and one year on, the company is turning a profit, and is fast becoming a success and is almost certainly one of the best regarded systems in Australia.  He had no opinion leaders, nobody famous, and nobody knew his name or our company - he worked alone for the first 2 years and has absolutely nailed it.
