As a Director in the PwC Forensics Practice I managed the core forensics practice with a focus on the detection, prevention and response to all areas of economic crime including fraud, theft, corruption and money laundering. I developed a full-service AML Practice and worked with clients to develop Fraud Control strategies, and investigate suspected fraud.

This was a voluntary non-executive role. Transparency International is a non-profit organisation which seeks to promote transparency, accountability, integrity and public participation in government and civil society.

I founded and ran the Centre for Innovative Leadership within New Zealand's AUT University. I built the Centre from start within the Innovation and Enterprise portfolio of AUT and it operated on a commercial basis. The Centre provided leadership development with a focus on authenticity and innovation including public programmes, tailored workshops and.

I looked after the areas of the business that involve investigation, including the preparation of materials for on-line manuals. As part of this work I drafted guidelines for the Search and Surveillance Act 2009.

I was responsible for the operations of the company which was a private provider of leadership training. I managed relationships with our associates and coaches and ensured that high standards were constantly met. I ran or managed the running of most of the Programmes including the Leadership Programme for High Potentials, a week-long residential.

Managed investigation teams, developed strategy. I started out as an Investigator and moved to managing investigations and people. Developed a learning organisation strategy and implemented a learning programme for the professional staff. A big interest and project through much of my time at the SFO was the development of systems for the processing and use.
