These cost centers included General Imaging, Computed Tomography (C.T.), Mammography, Ultrasound, and MRI • Developed and implemented a supply chain system within the Medical Imaging department that decreased delays in service which were due to limited supplies. • Reorganized the Mammography department to decrease the number of days until the next available appointment.• Coordinated all State regulatory, Joint Commission and ACR inspections and ensured that the Medical Imaging department was compliant with all mandatory standards.• Served on various interdepartmental committees to improve the operation of the Hospital. This includes the Customer Service Committee, Environment of Care Committee and Hospital Signage committee• Served as the day to day manager of the Medical Imaging department. • Reported to the department's Administrative Director.• Integral part of the department's equipment acquisition team.

• Member of a management team that was responsible for the management and control of the General Medical Imaging cost center with an annual total operating budget of $4.5 million and a gross revenue budget of $36 million dollars.• Responsible for the management, mentoring and training of 25 radiology staff employees, all of which were direct reports.• Manages a cost center that went from $1.5 million in temporary staffing usage in fiscal year 2002 to a total usage of $150,000 for fiscal year 2006. • Developed and implemented a plan that decreased temporary staffing usage from 70% down to 10% in one year.• Recruited, trained and retained a total of 20 new employees in an effort to decrease the department’s use of temporary staffing.• Took action to improve Radiology technologists/ICU nurses relationships by initiating a reoccurring interdepartmental “business mixer”. This in turn improved patient care and employee satisfaction. This effort was recognized by the ICU Nursing Director, the Vice President of Ancillary Services, and the Hospital’s CEO. . • Managed a team that was named “The Most Improved Work Group” for 2005.
