As the lead CSS3 designer I created the UAT architecture through virtual machines to test the application for cross browser compatibility. Brought the client experience into the 21st century by introducing Flat & Material design concepts. Encouraged & developed an ADA compliant user interface, and drafted documentation for porting to the new version for users with disabilities.Developing for both client and server side; I am a Sr member in the team assigned to develop new web solutions with technologies such as: Java, GWT, JavaScript, & Hibernate.

Lead a team of three to adopt the companies first SCRUM architecture. We developed the companies first touchscreen solution, and incorporated the Gamification methodology to make work fun for RMS employees.With these solutions training new employees in these applications was reduced from weeks to hours, and time per processed item was decreased by more than half.

Using real time analytics I architected a JavaScript workflow dashboard which gave a graphical representation of all live processing data. This application is still used by all department heads to monitor daily activity.Rewrite a simple email applet to become the core early alert system for RMS. The system continues to monitor Tomcat instances, Linux resource issues, time sensitive work that has fallen behind, & inform the appropriate departments.Implemented the first hot standby solution for the company’s core PostgreSQL database. This solution saved clients from losing irreplaceable data on multiple occasions, and providing RMS with a leading industry failover technique to ensure system reliability and security.Developed the current fully automated database maintenance system. This includes customizable index rebuilds, vacuums, stale data cleaning, & daily full image backups of the database.

A part of a team of engineers who were designing ways to better the lives of individuals bound to a wheelchair. By utilizing smart devices we created ways to use sensors to monitor individuals comfort levels, and calculate optimal changes to aid them.
