Stephen Fietta is the Founder and Principal of Fietta, a law firm dedicated to international law and founded in December 2015.Stephen Fietta has almost 20 years’ experience advising on international law cases, including before the International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the European Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, and multiple domestic courts. He has acted as counsel in over 30 pending and decided treaty arbitration proceedings (including under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, UNCLOS, LCIA, and SCC arbitration rules).Stephen has published many articles and commentaries on public international law topics in leading international journals including the American Journal of International Law, Arbitration International, International Legal Materials, the Journal of International Arbitration, the International Arbitration Law Review and the Journal of World Investment and Trade.Stephen’s most recent publication, A Practitioners Guide to Maritime Boundary Delimitation, in collaboration with Dr Robin Cleverly, was published by Oxford University Press on 24 March 2016.Stephen is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Kings College, London, where he has taught, inter alia, the law of the sea, international boundary disputes and international environmental disputes for more than 10 years.
