Built a MQ-1 Predator simulator using CryEngine 3 for visuals and X-Plane 9 for flight simulation with a team of 3 engineers. Created custom shaders, user interfaces, and fixed rendering issues using Direct3D and OpenGL. Built and imported custom 3d models, animations and scripts into CryEngine. Created terrain from Openflight and DTED source files. Co-wrote a semester long modeling and simulation course currently in use in more than 10 local high schools. Created game tutorial system, multiplayer networking, game UI and entity management between CryEngine 3, VBS2, and X-Plane. Managed lab code repository and prepared proposals for engineering efforts for government customers. Currently leading a team to build a game based F-16 operational flight program and simulator for training.

Created a Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) system in CryEngine 2 and 3. Led a team of developers to develop flight simulator, first person shooter and uav games. Authored a tool to preview 3d models and animations before importing into a game. Worked with several large C codebases to extend functionality of artificial intelligence threat systems. Researched new APIs and technology to improve the training capabilities of the games. Deployed games networked with live systems.

Started a gaming laboratory including development and documentation of gaming software. Created a DIS plugin for X-Plane 9 to allow multiplayer between different games. Correlated terrain databases between multiple software platforms.
