CurrentPaladin Wireless founded in 2015 is a Fixed Wireless Internet service provider that is committed to bringing Internet equality to Rural America, starting first in Northeast Georgia where it was founded. Paladin was one of the first companies in the USA to deploy CBRS ready radios that are Part 96 compliant making the network ready for upcoming FCC changes.Paladin is providing high speed internet to last mile rural residential subscribers that is fast (up to 100Mbps for residential and 1Gbps for commercial), reliable, and affordable to people who, until now, have had limited or no access to high speed internet at all. Paladin Wireless works with leading technology manufacturers such as ExteNet Systems, Nokia, BEC, and Mimosa to design the necessary infrastructure to provide wireless broadband access in underserved markets.They have also been actively participating in the government pursuit of broadband equality for all rural areas and Owner Steve Fortmann has had numerous meetings with Georgia State Lawmakers such as Kevin Tanner, Terry England, Frank Ginn, and Steve Gooch. Steve has met with Lt. Governor Casey Cagle who is running for Governor of Georgia to discuss what he would do if elected to address the broadband problem in rural Georgia. He also enjoys a close relationship with US Congressman Doug Collins and is a supporter of his Gigabit Opportunity Act. Steve has met with FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, spoken with the Federal Broadband Initiative group, the Georgia Broadband Committee, and met with numerous local level officials (Mayors, Commissioners, Chamber of Commerce, etc.).In addition to providing equal access to broadband in the underserved markets Paladin Wireless operates in they are also overcoming one of the biggest barriers to economic development within these areas.
