Duties include:Detail design engineering & project management of:-Commercial and light-industrial refrigeration installations-Insulated panel cold store installationsfor fresh foods handling & storage facilities and in the commercial & retail sectors (supermarkets & shopping malls).Draft technical reports and present solutions relating to key engineering decisions for the client.Drafting internal memos, standard operating procedures, technical specifications and business procedure documents.Key client interface.Perform fluid flow and heat load calculationsDesign pipe networks using thermodynamic and fluid flow design principles.Formulate process & instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, site plot plans and piping isometrics.Client representative in project specific site meetings & large project teams.Held a temporary position as a site manager on a challenging "brown fields" site managing a team of artisans for the installation of:-Ammonia refrigeration system-Associated chilled glycol piping-Steam & condensate piping-Fire & mains water tank with associated pump station & site reticulation piping-Compressed air package & site reticulation piping -Reticulation of various process fluids including high pressure air, product, caustic & acid lines.to serve a refurbished brewery in Zambia.
