Odyssey's mission is to disrupt the drug discovery biotech industry by going beyond the limitations of current medicine to fulfill the promise of precision medicine. Workloads include machine learning(ML) model training, ML model inference hosting, ML & datascience dev/ops platforms, high-performance computing (HPC) environments, large-scale management/governance of scientific data, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).Platform components include: AWS Parallel Cluster (GPU/CPU), Elastic Kubernets Service, Seldon ML model hosting, Oracle, Postgres, SLURM, S3, large EC2 fleet

After taking a couple of months off to focus on kids, family, health, and friends, I had a chance to reflect on what inspires me at work and what I need from a work-life balance. I started to deep dive into the disruption happening in the freelance consulting world. Companies such as UpWork, Toptal, Turning, and others, have created low friction marketplaces for consumers and providers of technology services.
