Having begun my customer service experience in bartending jobs over 8 years ago, I then had a career change and moved to the 9-5 life and have not looked back.I began with Abtran in November of 2019 and have remained there since. My journey with Irish Life Health started in August 2020, from there before I set out on the qualifications path to get the APA and CIP I was offered the chance to obtain a BA(Hons) Insurance Practice.This will allow me to progress in my career path internally and externally allow me to pursue a degree in my work field.

  Working closely alongside the client Irish Life Health in their customer service department dealing with a range of customers and providers through an array of mediums such as phone conversations and emails. Working closely with the client and internally to reach deadlines and goals and stay within a service threshold to maintain good customer service. Have been currently selected to begin an Insurance Apprenticeship in IT Sligo, soon to be the Atlantic Technological University. This apprenticeship will allow me to both develop professionally and gain a full BA(Hons) in Insurance General. Currently specialising in Health Insurance but will be planning to branch out in the future to broaden my skills. It is a 3 year course that will afford me the opportunity to gain my APA and CIP qualifications before finally gaining the degree after the course has concluded. This course is a part time college course and working experience, which will allow me to gain at minimum 4 years experience in the relative insurance field along with the degree.
