Details about the clients and projects I’ve worked on are detailed below.- Encom Energy-- Created an Energy Management System for residential users to optimise their renewable energy installations (e.g. solar panels, heat pumps, etc).-- This included creating a cloud platform, a mobile app and firmware for a gateway/hub. There are also integrations with OCPP EV chargers, immersion heaters, smart plugs and subscription management.-- Involved in as aspects of the project including architecture, product management and software engineering.-- Created an electric vehicle charger, with accompanying software platform and mobile application.- Instil Software-- Subcontracted to a UK Government project responsible for providing a service for people to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme and to provide the mechanism to prove their rights in the UK (e.g. enter, work, settle, healthcare). I worked on the core platform that consumed applications to the scheme and determined someone’s rights. There was a mix of event driven architecture for processing the applications, and RESTful APIs for retrieval of someone’s persisted rights.- Surecert-- Updated SureCert’s core platform to have enterprise integrations with Experian and DocuSign.-- Created new micro-service which integrated with AWS Cognito to enable and control developer access to the core platform via RESTful APIs.- Voscuris-- Integrated Voscuris’ core platform with AWS Cognito to provide user authentication and management.-- Re-architected, implemented and automated their deployment architecture to be 100% AWS based and repeatable across many instances because they have a deployment per customer.-- Added access controls, firewalls and enhanced security because the data they process is very sensitive. When I joined the company the product had been developed by several different services companies, and there was no consistency in between the several applications that formed the platform.
