Solaris Consultants was created in 2014, to provide consultancy support to investment managers looking to implement Aladdin from BlackRock Solutions. The two founders, Matthew Robinson and Stephen Grove have significant experience in the field, having played key roles in the Aladdin programmes at Aviva Investors and Deutsche Asset Management, and subsequently at Schroders, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and BNP Paribas AM.Solaris has developed a network of experienced consultants, with an in-depth knowledge of the design and implementation of an Aladdin based operating model, and the configuration, testing and transition activities required for a successful migration.We can advise on programme structure and resources required, lessons learnt from previous programmes, and on areas that need particular focus from the outset. Consultants from Solaris have chaired business process reviews across multiple workstreams, driving in to the detail required to understand where Aladdin will support the business, and areas that will require additional solutioning.
