EMMIE is a prestigious triple masters mobility program funded by the European Union. Students study management, impact entrepreneurship, and sustainability at three universities: Zagreb School of Economics and Management in Croatia, ISM University of Management and Economics in Lithuania, and HEC Liège in Belgium.

Projects include:Sustainable Investments Program (Completed)-Developed and secured C-suite buy-in for a sustainably-linked investment business case, earning $500,000 in funding and placing first in the Dai-ichi Life Innovation Fund.-Designed an investment strategy that secured $25M in allocated internal funds and executed $6.5M towards immediate opportunities.-Led a cross-functional team to explore 12 sustainable investment classes and identify opportunities for Protective, using agile methodology and prioritizing customer-centric approach.Defining Protective's ESG Strategy (Completed)-Conducted research, analyzed competitors and distilled learning into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholder group, aligning them on ESG strategic priorities and concerns.-Resulted in the creation of a company-wide ESG strategy with Executive buy-in, an internal Sustainability Task Force, and Protective's first annual Sustainability Report. Acquisitions 2.0 (Completed)-Developed a technology-enabled digital playbook to improve M&A efficiency, resulting in 10% more efficient process. This reduced Transaction Service Agreement periods by ~2.5 months, saving $2-4M per acquisition.-Led internal customer interviews, developed project plan addressing high-priority challenges and created a custom, replicable SharePoint M&A template to centralize key documents, automate tracking and reduce redundant tasks.Full Coverage (In Progress)-Created a project to increase revenue by upselling customers to their maximum coverage qualification at point of purchase, using internal research data.-Pitched the project in the Dai-ichi Life Innovation Fund, earning $360,000 in funding to validate the project assumptions.-Research data suggest 24% of customers increase their policy coverage, leading to potentially $12M+ in new annual recurring revenue.

I managed multiple cross-functional projects concurrently, defining the project scope, goals, and roadmap, and independently leading project management and execution. I worked directly with Executive Business Leaders and external parties to translate key corporate initiatives into actionable plans and deliverables as part of Protective's innovation team. I continuously identified high-potential, company-wide improvement initiatives using agile methodology, secured Executive buy-in, and ensured projects remained customer-centric while prioritizing delivery.

I consulted with the Innovation Team to develop and manage a scope of work for reinventing the acquisitions due diligence process flow, which affected 30+ core team members and 200+ company-wide team members (deals often valued at $700M+). After conducting roundtable interviews with 24 executive team leaders, I identified 6 core areas for improvement in the due diligence process and presented recommendations to senior mergers & acquisitions leadership. When I joined Protective Life full-time, I executed the recommendations, creating a 10% more efficient process and reducing Transition Service Agreement periods by an estimated 2.5 months ($2-4M timesaving value per acquisition).
