•Use TRNSYS modelling software to design large district geothermal systems. Capable of modelling various other renewable energy technologies such as: groundwater energy extraction, solar thermal, wastewater heat extraction, cooling towers, dry fluid coolers, and combined heat and power•Use geothermal modelling software (GLD 2017) to design ground heat exchangers for commercial and residential building geothermal projects•Use Trane Trace 700 software to create energy models to determine building energy loads based on actual building use for the design of ground heat exchangers•Assist developing tools and techniques that overcome market barriers that inhibit the uptake of geothermal systems•Perform economic analyses for geothermal projects compared to conventional heating and cooling systems and present to clients•Provide design assist for projects that decide to use geothermal and work with clients through the process of design to implementation to monitoring•Perform forensics analysis on previously failed geothermal projects

•Management and maintenance of storm water retention ponds and wastewater lagoons including wetland and upland projects•Work included seeding, chemical and mechanical weed control, installation of erosion control products, wetland hand planting, vegetation monitoring and assessments•On several occasions travelled independently throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan to complete various projects
