I fully utilised my experiences of working on large software projects at PulseLearning, and my studies in Civil Engineering at UCC.Key responsibilities: -Assessing the vulnerability of 100+ bridges to hydraulic scour as part of an expert team. My primary inputs are site inspections, report writing, and detailed site surveys of bridge structures for physical and computer modelling. -Reviewing the bridge management practices of transport authorities worldwide, to outline an idealised approach. This information was used in the design of an optimal management system.-Designing a database system to improve the accessibility and accuracy of data on bridge structures within transport networks. This included setting up individual course delivery systems, with custom branding and content, and assigning large volumes of students to the appropriate modules.Management of the UK, US and Australian sales team, setting their weekly sales targets, ensuring they worked to meet these targets and were fully supported in their roles.Negotiated pricing, contracts and financial documents for significant deals acquired by the sales teams.Relaunched the company’s marketing strategy. To this end I capitalised on PulseLearning’s existing partnership, establishing new leads for the sales teams, and significantly increasing the brand’s exposure in the student, clinical, and enterprise markets. This was achieved through social media, a direct contact campaign, and positive brand associations with well-known companies.Allocated and budgeted marketing, sales, multimedia, legal and financial resources to assist in the smooth running of Clinics in Motion. This eliminates the need for a Flash designer to create an interaction each time it is requested, and means the in-house designers can simply select the interaction they require and easily make custom branding modifications.-Consulting with management and clients to highlight possible applications of Actionscript, and escalate potential issues when merging content with industry partners.
