Stephen is a senior alternative investment management professional, Partner and Global Head of KPMG’s Hedge Fund Practice. Stephen recently moved to the US from London where he spent the last 10 years. In the UK, he also worked with KPMG in a similar capacity. Prior to this, Stephen was a Senior Partner at Laven Partners in London where he was responsible for the development and creation of a global managed account platform. He has served in leadership roles at other “Big 4” firms around the world including in the Cayman Islands, Milan and Bangkok. Stephen is an investment and operations expert, U.S. lawyer and U.S. tax practitioner. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science and economics from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law.
