Helping BCUSU achieve its mission and continue to provide meaningful support and opportunities for its members.I am a member of the Risk & Audit committee assessing and mitigating potential risks for the organisation and reviewing financial and operational performance. Additionally, I am a member of the People & Culture sub-committee at BCUSU. Playing a critical role in supporting the development and well-being of the organization's staff and ensuring that the student union is a positive and inclusive workplace. Furthermore, my leadership and expertise have been instrumental in the hiring of the new CEO. As Chair of the selection panel, I led a thorough and transparent recruitment process, which resulted in the successful hiring of a highly qualified and talented individual. I am passionately committed to the organisation's success and dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and students alike.

Through my extensive research and analysis of the local market, I identified a clear opportunity for RCSI to expand its offerings and contribute to the healthcare transformation program in Saudi Arabia. Having successfully developed the business case and gained approval from RCSI Senior Management and Counsel, I worked closely with senior management and legal counsel to ensure that all regulatory requirements were met in establishing the company and navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes. Having been appointed as the founding MD of the business in Saudi Arabia, I am responsible for establishing and managing a B2B offering that aligns with the country's healthcare transformation program. Providing post-graduate courses that facilitate excellence in healthcare leadership and contribute to developing the country's healthcare workforce.

Managing the day-to-day activities and processes for each country, ensuring that they aligned with the overall strategy and goals of the firm. Working closely with business line owners/partners to identify and address any operational issues, as well as to develop and implement strategies for growth and improvement. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in each country, ensuring that the firm is delivering high-quality services that meet their needs and expectations. Acting as a subject matter expert in client engagements. My extensive knowledge and expertise in people, change and culture made me a valuable asset to the firm and allowed me to provide guidance and insights to clients on various projects. Leading a number of high-profile consultancy engagements, which required me to successfully manage a team of professionals and provide strategic advice to clients.

Appointed to take overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the HR, Administration and Logistics function of the organization. Driving a value add proposition within the departments, ensuring all activities undertaken deliver high quality service to the organization and impact positively on the bottom line. Overseeing operations of 40 staff across 6 countries, delivering a high quality service to a multicultural organization of 40 plus nationalities.

Overall responsibility for the HR function within the organization, working at both strategic and operational levels and reporting directly to the board on all issues pertaining to HR, Administration and Facilities. Running a team of 12 people across these functions with budgetary control of $2m.
