He has global experience leading multi-discipline groups of creators through concepting, development and delivery of online and offline experiences. His projects cover a wide range of technologies, including AI and blockchain, in opportunity areas spanning industrial, consumer goods, pharmaceutical and financial services. Stephen has been in the business of experience creation and design, as well as development and leadership of creative teams for many years. Prior to joining IBM, he worked on both the agency and business sides, leading cross-functional teams in San Francisco, Zurich, Amsterdam and Hamburg, as well as creating and managing award winning experiences for brands from various industries. He has comprehensive expertise in brand design, service design, customer experience design, innovation, as well as the management of projects, business development and operations in the agency environment. His experience includes leading large teams while being responsible for key account and program budgets. As a specialist in design thinking, co-creation and AI design, he often shares his secrets with global companies, universities and the local design community. Additionally, he has been a jury member for international design competitions including Cannes Lions.
