Originally from Atlanta, GA, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Georgia in 2012, and relocated to the Bay Area in the spring of 2013 to pursue my interests in audio production and outdoor adventure/travel. While music and audio production became a hobby, outdoor adventure and travel became a job (as well as a hobby); after a brief stint at REI in Berkeley, CA, I joined Backroads, the World's #1 Active Travel Company. Backroads afforded me the opportunity to travel, work with talented and adventurous coworkers, and expose myself to cultures across the world. After 5 years in the Bay Area, I relocated to Eugene, OR to pursue a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon. Architecture combines my love of music and the arts with the more concrete fields of mathematics, physics, and environmental sustainability, and my original field of study, sociology and social equity. I earned my M.Arch from the UO in June 2021, and - in a homecoming of sorts - have returned to Athens, GA where I work as an architectural designer at an exciting small firm called Arcollab (Architectural Collaborative). I am thrilled to enter the architectural profession as an emerging designer and to grow my skills and experience in this field. While not working and studying, I enjoy cycling, climbing, running (my goal is to run the Athens, GA Half Marathon every year for 50 years straight - 2022 will be #13 in a row!), hiking, seeing live music, hearing new music, and discovering new cities I may want to inhabit in the future.
Listed skills include Pro Tools, Recording, Sound, Music Industry, and 28 others.
