I am an MOV tester and valve actuator tech for Teledyne Testing Services in the nuclear industry. I strive to practice excellent procedure and process use, safest standards, and communicate well with others to troubleshoot, test, rebuild, install or remove, maintenance, and control MOVs in multiple nuclear fleets.I am a journeyperson and I&C instrument technician at Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 565 which has trained me and will continue to train me to work in diverse areas such as natural gas piping, water and steam piping, plumbing, ventilation and drainage systems, welding, torching, soldering/brazing, HVAC-R work, rigging and signaling, safety, instrumentation, and everything that falls under our scope of work.I have experience working as a field engineer and practice thorough surveys and information when working on this capacity.I have had multiple classes in Information Technology (Computer and Business) and also I have worked in construction as an estimator, designer, and builder of trusses learning various aspects of small business and client-customer relationshipsPart of my responsibilities at Huffman Truss have included creating contracts between the company and customers, creating two websites, doing a domain redirect and server change, and creating databases and spreadsheets to speed up certain processesOutside of employment experiences I have used Linux operating systems, set up an Apache server, set up a MySql server, and set up Perl and PHP servers, worked with computer hardware extensively and assembled towers from scratch (from parts I have ordered from a company as individual pieces).
