McLane's Southwest delivery area included the eastern half of Texas and Oklahoma at that time.► Developed innovative logistics strategies to handle different customers' delivery window constraints, weight, and drivers' Hours Of Service (HoS).► Coordinated back-up support truck carriers and trailer vendors for overflow loads during special seasonal distributions like multimillion dollar candy distribution for Walmart at Halloween.► In 2012, I was named Dispatcher of the Year for delivering strong servant leadership by soliciting input from drivers to increase efficiency. Merit Distribution Services, Inc. operated as a long-haul, over-the-road refrigerated carrier. It was acquired by Swift Transportation in 2003.I was a key contributor of the transformation from 80 drivers to over 1,200 total, spanning 6 divisions. I developed and drove all through service in and out of Mexico. I provided leadership and strategic planning over all Trans-Texas dispatch initiatives. I also acted as operational lead that set up Merit’s through service to and from Mexico for several customers.With a reputation of getting the job done, I oversaw special logistic projects with then parent company, McLane, regarding special nationwide distributions.
