I migrated internal student records from existing Mongo database to a server with Node, Postgres, Redis and Express, integrating a new endpoint for the data in with existing services in a large, multi-purpose code base. My ETL process used Node's built in stream interface to process a large number of records without overloading the server's memory, and allowed for the database dump to be compressed with gzip if necessary to conserve disk space on the target server.

I took over the general manager position after the abrupt departure of the previous one on a provisional basis. The restaurant had around thirty employees, about half of them full time, and was open seven days a week. I systematized and documented all aspects of the position so that future GMs could be onboarded as smoothly as possible, and I hired, promoted, and, when necessary, fired employees. After completing the six month term I had promised, I oversaw the candidate search and conducted the initial interviews for my replacement.

As front of house manager I oversaw the front of house staff and operations at this Flipside location, including scheduling of servers, bartenders and hostesses, as well as bartending several nights a week.
