Risk Management oversight for 21 CISV chapters in US, including monthly training, education and policy development. Work collaboratively with international representatives and the Board of Directors of CISV USA on a regular basis.

As Risk Manager for the local CISV chapter, I assist families in preparing their children for international travel. As part of the Executive Board, I have been involved in recruitment, assessment and selection of delegates and leaders for international youth programs, fundraising, strategic planning and chapter oversight. I also served as a Co-planner for a locally hosted international program, and as Development Officer.

Provide Children's Liturgy of the Word during Mass for Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Give monthly tours to 5th and 8th grade classes throughout Contra Costa County. Tours include a basic review of basic civics, the branches of government, and legal terminology with access to court security, court administration and the detention facility. Students also have the opportunity to view an ongoing civil or criminal trial and to perform a mock trial.

Served 3 years on the Executive Board, including 1 year as President. Accomplishments included hiring of new executive director for the Foundation, ongoing policy development, budget oversight, program development, strategic planning, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, governance and human resources.

Governance Review and Recommendations for LLLCF Board of Trustees; Nomination Committee recruiting new board of trustee members annually since for the past 7 years, including the original Board of Trustees for the Foundation.

For 8 years, I was a leader in strategic planning, budget management, negotiations with teachers' unions and classified staff, community tax initiatives, and fund-raising. I have hired, fired and evaluated employees, and been a collaborative problem solver with our local schools, Lafayette's education foundation (LPIE), Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, the Lamorinda School Bus Transportation Agency, and a variety of green technology companies providing services to the Lafayette School District.
