As an intern for the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary McNeil, I interned for two summers decommissioning and installing manufacturing equipment, ensuring the smooth dismantlement of the old equipment and the proper operation of the new equipment. I would proofread manuals for Standard Operating Procedures and assisting in obtaining and filing documents.I also trained in Johnson & Johnson safety protocol and regulations.Notable Projects: • Assisted with the decommissioning of equipment on 3 factory lines that produced liquid medications. • Responsible for labelling different parts of the equipment throughout the dismantlement process, explaining to the purchaser the order of installation and providing specific details on reconstruction. • Managed the logistics of removing the equipment from the facility and transporting it to the new facility, collaborating with others on the project as well as the company purchasing the equipment. • Ensured that all accompanying forms and documentation were filled out accurately and to completion.
