My primary responsibilities were the management and development of food safety and quality systems and ensuring the maintenance of governance processes.Food SafetyIntroduced a rapid mycotoxin testing system into our African markets to assist in the improvement of food safety of our smallholder farmers. This system has been introduced into 5 countries. Early results have given us a clearer view of our supply chain and provided insights into areas that require intervention. HACCP Level 3 qualified. Raw Material ReviewsComprehensive review against company policies, internal brewing principles, regulations and consumer sentiment of all the raw materials used in the production of products, resulting in a full list of materials and their approval status was generated along with recommendations for permits for conditional use. I have created a database and website to allow NPD teams in all markets to access information on potential materials in one location, enabling product innovations to be deployed globally.Quality assuranceDevelopment of a global quality system to improve the effectiveness of governance within the quality and food safety space.GovernanceManaging governance processes for supplier auditing, franchise, consumer led indexes, packaged product quality and deviation management. This included a complete review of the processes and refreshing the format and directional emphasis of the quarterly reports
