New job title to reflect an increased range of responsibilities to existing role, including taking on responsibility for the local surveyors.Main purpose of role: To provide a strong strategic and commercial focus at the local level and to deliver excellent resident services via the effective management of a neighbourhood team; forging and sustaining formal and informal strategic partnerships at the local level with local authorities, the local voluntary and community sectors, and the police; maximising opportunities for greater partnership working within Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs) and Local Area Agreements (LAAs) and to help shape the agenda for local communities.Key Tasks: - To deliver social and economic regeneration in the area with measurable outcomes and to promote Moat and the interests of its residents at partnership forums and external events. - To provide an effective strategic interface within the organisation - particularly Finance, Property Services and Development - and to facilitate efficient working processes whilst enhancing existing services and developing new services for the benefit of residents. - To provide strategic drive and strong contract and performance management for all service providers, particularly with the cleaning and gardening contractors and the managing agents. - To provide and maintain local knowledge and insight for future growth and development opportunities.- To write up and publish and annual service plan for the area and to oversee the resolution of all customer complaints relating to service provision in strict compliance with Moat policy.- To champion the effective use of mobile technology in the area and to deal with all necessary improvements to the service. - To provide a range of high quality comprehensive housing services, including tackling anti-social behaviour, a tenancy audit service, and implementing the Resident Involvement strategy within the area.
