About Stephen Murray

I'm the Co-Founder/CEO of Castlehill Materials, a pre-cast manufacturing company. During my MBA at The University of Chicago, I developed the business plan for Castlehill Materials and refined the strategic components with the help of brilliant professors and colleagues.Our company focus was producing a simple product with an automated system. The story, financial modeling, and business plan helped us raise private funding and secure equipment loans with a regional bank, an unprecedented feat in the conservative banking industry for a start-up venture.After our second round of fundraising, we are poised to continue establishing ourselves as a premier supplier in the stone veneer market. I have an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. I function part-time as the CFO of MDM Stoneworks, a distributor in the building materials space, and do consultation in financial modeling/valuations as well. Prior to my role at Castlehill Materials, I worked in the Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) for GE Power.
