Transportation Merge CoordinatorOversaw the combining of Tempurpedic mattress deliveries onto Sealy bedding deliveries in the Atlanta and Orlando footprint of Sealy Sterns and Foster.  Coordinated, communicated, monitored and reported on merge activity from the Tempur DC to the Sealy Plants. Communicated directly with plant staff and supervisors to ensure processes are followed. Reviewed plant schedule output to determine Tempur order sequencing to be transferred to the plant.  Implemented Backhaul Tracking to compile and key necessary data for metrics requirements of raw materials and outsourced deliveries. Managed inbound/outbound flow of Tempur returns inclusive of transactional closure in Oracle.  Served as backup for the High Point merge coordinator and was chosen to help train merge coordinator for the Brenham Texas location.  Managed the backhaul movement assigned to the Transportation Supervisor in Conyers during the absence of someone in said position.

Atlanta Ga

Supported a staff of 12 fork lift operators on the day to day activities in receiving and staging of ingredients at the Edwards Pie facility.  Input into SAP of daily receipts from outside vendors of raw materials and packaging not only at the plant but for two different outside storage locations as well.  Assisted production by assuring that inventories for the daily production runs on three shifts are readily available.  Worked with quality assurance to maintain proper certificates of analysis are received and maintained. Supported the allergen control matrix, and ingredient shelf lives are recorded and monitored.

Suwanee Georgia

Championed role as contract maintenance coordinator for all plants in the bakery division. Supported production plants on all aspects of contracts, invoices and maintaining vendor information.  Monitored invoice discrepancies, ran month end variance reports in SAP and updated actual prices and volumes.  Assisted the buyers with running contract expiration reports, printing contracts and maintaining a signed contract log  Coordinated vendor set ups and maintenance with Marshall, MN and balance contracts with the suppliers.  Oversaw a World Sugar Submission with the USDA that gives the company a better buying position based on the volume of our exported finished goods.  Coordinated the contract entry of the SAP implementation of the Atlanta, Georgia facility. Instrumental in the contract implementation of the Stilwell, Oklahoma facility.

Tucker Ga

Originally hired as inventory control clerk with subsequent promotion to Material Control Supervisor in April of 2000. Oversaw inventory though various audit procedures included receiving and cycle count adjustments  Maintained supplies for a fast paced bakery production environment though daily contact with vendors to ensure proper ingredients and packaging are kept available to meet production needs.  Ensured proper billing though current contract agreements, auditing requisitions, assisting in the inventory audits and cycle counts.  Worked with Research and Development to assure proper ingredients and vendors can be maintained for new products and sample request.  Assisted quality control in maintaining proper Kosher and Certificates of Analysis.  Reconciled inventory not only in between company plants but also maintained in two separate outside storage facilities.  Input daily production schedules that generated the ingredient requirements for daily production runs over a three year period.  Selected to orchestrate the absorption of inventory from the Los Angeles facility into the Tucker operations
