Music Producer and recording engineer with a wealth of experience and practice in the music industry for 20 years. I am an experienced recording and mix engineer, producer and bass and electric guitarist. I have worked on recordings with Kate Nash, William Rees (Mystery Jets), Tom Biller, The Jungle Drummer, The Dogs, Sky, BBC and countless other bands and artists. As a recording engineer specialising in drum recording techniques, I have also ben a feature writer at Drummer magazine. Additionally, I have experience work in audio postproduction, including Sound Design, Sound Supervisor and ADR mixer, with experience in a range of film and media genres. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Music Production at London Metropolitan University, and course leader for BSc Music Technology and Production. My teaching and research ranges in specialisms relating to music and its production, including recording techniques and studio practices, mixing and mastering, popular music studies, sound synthesis, Max for Live and audio software.I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Member of the Audio Engineering Society and Full Member of the Music Producers Guild.
