Working hard is who I am. I started working hard from the moment I could rip weeds out of my grandmother's driveway at ten years old, and this led to the opportunity to cut grass for friends and family. My great grandmother had a notoriously hard yard to cut, but I did it better than anyone else, and never heard a bad word otherwise. At fifteen and half I got my first job at a local bakery and been working ever since. The problem with being so focused on being good at my job and spending over 25 years in customer service, is I never asked myself if this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life? This brought me, after a year of contemplation, to programming. When I left my job in logistics where I was fixing problems for over-the-road issues enroute to typing code in Java, it was nothing but exciting. I was challenging my mind in new and exciting ways. Coupled with an endless learning curve, I was fulfilled on a new front. I have done everything with computers, from building to playing on them, this was my real chance to make a life long passion a new avenue for me. The only thing I have been doing longer than working, is interacting with computers. Programming is an exciting field for me and I look forward to combining two things I am really passionate about. As I venture forth in furthering my education to learn more about programming languages. I want to use my new found tools to work in the field of Java programming and develop these recently established skill sets along the way to a fresh career path.
