Hr People Adviser
Enquiry Officer/Processer
I was an Enquiry officer at SAAS, this involved communicating with students via a webchat and email to help them with their applications or queries regarding SAAS, I have to ensure I am providing them with accurate and necessary information. I am required to have a sound understanding of government guidelines relating to eligibility for funding for Higher Education in Scotland and be able to formulate an answer based on the student’s individual circumstances. This role requires an excellent level of written communication and a deep understanding of data protection. In addition, I am also required to process certain parts of the students application which requires me to thoroughly examine the application before granting or rejecting any funding.
Class Representative
I was the class rep for my HR303 Employee Relations class at University of Strathclyde.

Customer Assistant
I am based within the fruit and vegetable department at Morrisons. The main role within this job is to ensure that products are readily available to customers and that all of the products are fresh and in good condition. It is also vital to make sure that the section is kept tidy in order to make it as easy as possible for the customers to do their shopping.
Customer Service Assistant
Throughout my time at Tesco I had learned various different skills and worked in various departments throughout the shop. This helped me to deepen my understanding of how a business operates. The biggest part of each role within the store is the interaction with customers, I have to be able to quickly adapt for various people, from those with disabilities and special needs to those who may simply want to talk because they are lonely. I have also been trained to work on the customer service desk, this role involves having to deal with customer queries, complaints and requests. While working on the desk I have learned how to think fast in order to keep the customer happy whilst also ensuring that I abide by my instructions from my manager and shop protocol. A vital part of the desk job is complying with Data Protection and assuring that the customers information is safe. I am able to think on my feet and make sound decisions. While working on the shop floor I had to ensure that my section was tidy and presentable to customers as this will often influence their purchasing. If a section is unkept and unorganised customers may stop coming to the shop, thus damaging the brand.
