I have spent the last year and a half in Hanoi as one half of Nutter's Butter. With my co-founder, we've built a natural Peanut Butter brand from the bottom up. What began in a kitchen with a handful of roasted nuts has grown into a recognised Hanoi brand, and is poised to become Vietnam's first truly organic Peanut Butter. Working together with World Agroforestry and Ha Tinh Farmer's Union, we now source our product all the way from seed to spoon. New: Also available in Da Nang!

Berlin Area, Germany

Working in a small team on the cutting edge of desktop 3D printing technology. A many-faceted role with different and interesting challenges, doing much more than the title suggests. I'm involved in sourcing, service management and operations as well as design, prototyping and testing.

Vietnam

Tao Tac provides custom 3D printing solutions in Vietnam. Whilst there I wrote content and made films about the maker scene in Asia in general , and various 3D printing projects I was working on.

Hanoi

Teaching 3D modelling, 3D printing, Coding and Quadrocopters to 10-14 year olds in a Korean school in Keangnam 72, Hanoi's tallest building.

Klax Kinderbildungswerkstatt

I taught small groups of children (5-15) how to model in 3D and steered their personal 3D printing projects to completion. In addition to this I gave workshops in coding, robotics, Arduino etc. and the use of plug and play gadgets such as Little bits.

Taking care of 24 first graders and helping them in their everyday struggles to learn about the changing world around them. My job involves team teaching, planning events, liasing with parents, and of course -making sure the 3D printer in the classroom is working perfectly.

Between Berlin, Germany And Hanoi, Vietnam

During this time, I was actively building Reprap 3D printers and collaborating on many projects with various people. From taking my Foldarap to several schools in Vietnam and taking part in exhibitions and street art, to working with professional engineers, larger companies and private clients. In the end the momentum I built up wasn't enough to challenge other better funded players in the space.

Kita Abenteuerland, Berlin, Marzahn

In a socially deprived area of east of Berlin, I worked as one of three in a group of 18 children between the ages of 2 and 6 and supervised, encouraged and inspired these children to learn English by bringing it into their everyday lives. As the only native speaker in house, I planned and carried out English lessons for each group of the Kita. In addition to the everyday care of able-bodied and disabled children in an integrated group, supervising and documenting each child's development, I also worked with parents, did project work, city-wide excursions and Kita events.

Berlin Area, Germany

As a freelance English teacher in the vibrant, fascinating European capital, I taught children and young adults across the city, helping them improve their English. From 45 minute classes with groups of 5 or 6 two-year-olds to directing two weeks of camps for 15 and 16 year olds, Oskar Lernt Englisch helped me learn more about how others learn.
