Led the risk analysis team responsible for collaborating with the developers of the firm in identifying potential mixed use development projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Ontario, Canada. Primary responsibilities included risk analysis, feasibility studies, pro forma creation and loan packaging. Over 4 years I led our team in accomplishing the overall goal of the firm. This involved taking a project from the potential sites for development, conducting appropriate risk assessments, achieving required zoning by each city council committee in a desired development territory, and the acquisition of construction loans to complete projects. The success of the firm's portfolio and proven process for commercial development led to a private equity partnership with GEM Realty Capital in excess of 58 million dollars of commercial development from 2007 to 2009.
