Supporting I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) with the day-to-day support of Expeditionary Operations Cell tasks and the force generation and training of I MEF Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs), Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Forces (SPMAGTFs), and purpose built task forces (PBTFs).Impact: Develops, coordinates, and facilitates all applicable I MEF orders, directives, letters of instruction, task orders, and standard operating procedures related to all expeditionary and amphibious operations.

Primary Responsibility: Analyzing DoD/Service-level direction, doctrine, emerging concepts, and Commanding General, I MEF's operational objectives, making recommendations for force development enhancements to I MEF concepts, capabilities, and technologies. Impact: Developed and coordinated the I MEF FY21 Exercise Training Continuum and the supporting plans associated with observing, evaluating, and assessing the exercises associated with it.

Primary Responsibility: Serve as the Lead Exercise Planner for the largest amphibious Marine Corps and Navy exercise on the West Coast since the 1960s. Impact: Successfully organized and led multiple planning efforts that included more than 200 personnel from 85 different units across the Marine Corps, Navy, and Defense Industry.

Primary Responsibility: Developed and implemented the regional strategy and campaign plan in support of the U.S. / NATO mission to train, advise, and assist the Afghanistan National Defense and Security Forces.Impact: Enhanced the Command's ability to plan, synchronize, and execute their assigned missions within the highly dynamic environment of Southern Afghanistan.

Primary Responsibility: Developed and implemented the organization’s processes for the planning, coordination, and synchronization of all personnel documents, orders and directives, and pre-deployment training requirements for all Marine Expeditionary Units, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Forces, and the 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade.Impact: Improved the overall effectiveness of the pre-deployment training for more than 7,000 deploying Marines and Sailors and enhanced the Marine Expeditionary Force’s ability to generate crisis response forces.

Primary Responsibility: Created, coordinated, synchronized, reproduced, and distributed, all training and exercise employment plans (TEEPs), campaign plans, operational plans, contingency plans, crisis response plans, and operations orders that are required for a MEU pre-deployment training plan (PTP) and deployment.Impact: Executed a highly successful deployment to U.S. Central Command aboard amphibious shipping that increased the operational employment options available to U.S. national leadership while cultivating and enhancing key relationships with partner nations within the Middle East region.

Primary Responsibility: Supervised the planning, coordination and execution of all U.S. Marine Corps operations within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.Impact: These actions significantly enhanced the U.S. Marine Corps’ position within U.S. Central Command and provided the foundation for the command to transition to an operational command in conjunction with the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet Headquarters.

Primary Responsibility: Selected by the Marine Corps and an Air Force General Officer board to serve as the sole U.S. Marine Corps Officer at the Air Force’s premier graduate strategy school and attend the Air Force’s Command and Staff College.Impact: SAASS and ACSC are demanding, multidisciplinary graduate programs emphasizing critical thinking and effective argument presentation concerning the development, advancement, and application of air, space, and cyberspace power across the spectrum of service, joint, and combined operations.

Primary Responsibility: Facilitated senior-level interaction between NGA leadership, the President of the United States, Congressional committees, the Director of National Intelligence, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Staff.Impact: These efforts increased the NGA Director’s awareness of geospatial-intelligence issues and provided him with the best options to support NGA’s partners through coordination with NGA elements located throughout the United States and in over 150 locations world-wide to ensure unity of effort as the global GEOINT leader.

Primary Responsibility: Planned, coordinated, and supervised the GEOINT support being provided to Marine Corps units during pre-deployment training, operational/combat deployments, and contingency operations. Also served as Assistant Deputy Country Lead of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency(NGA) Task Force Afghanistan; serving as the NGA liaison to the U.S., Coalition, and Afghan government, military, and intelligence entities at Kandahar and in Regional Command South (RC-S) and West (RC-W).Impact: Greatly enhanced the quality and quantity of GEOINT support to the Marines Corps, successfully managing the support to more than 30 U.S. and Coalition Forces operating in Afghanistan, 15 Marine Corps units preparing to deploy to Iraq, and coordinating with internal NGA elements and external partners to streamline the GEOINT support structure/process to all Marine units.
