My name is Stephen Kaita, and I have more than a decade of experience in sports entertainment, from event planning, game-day operations, activations, floor directing, public address announcing, in-game hosting, and community engagement programming. While I went to school to become a high school teacher, my passion for sports and entertainment always drove me to become the best version of myself and community. I have had the honour to work incredible events, facilitating activations and entertainment. Recently, I worked a number of incredible events such as: • 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs with the Abbotsford Canucks• 2023 and 2024 Northwest Playoffs with the Vancouver Canadians• 2023 NBA Canada Series with the Toronto Raptors• 2023 CFL Western Conference Semi-Final with the BC Lions Football Club• 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Vancouver Canucks• 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs with Vancouver Whitecaps FCPreviously, I worked as an In-Game Experience and Community Programs Assistant for SFU Athletics while holding a number of positions student leadership positions in Student Services, including working with SFU Career Services and Peer Education.
