• Constructed and updated financial valuation models for upstream oil and gas assets in the oil sands, WCSB, and Atlantic Canada. Areas of interest/coverage included the Duvernay, Montney, and Deep Basin.• Wrote and published detailed valuation research reports for all assets and associated companies within coverage universe. Companies covered included Suncor, Husky, Tourmaline, and Nexen.• Performed consulting projects for producers, financial institutions, and other clients. These projects included M&A analysis, valuation opinions, and potential market entry scenarios.• Modeled and forecasted WCSB natural gas and liquids supply on both a short term (monthly) and a long term (yearly) basis in conjunction with other groups. This was used to develop oil and gas price forecasts.• Performed traditional corporate-level equity research coverage for Husky Energy and Suncor Energy • Regularly gave interviews and insights to different media sources including Bloomberg, the National Post, and the Calgary Herald. Have also been frequently quoted in these publications.• Led and conducted research meetings with covered companies, both for companies within coverage universe as well as other companies or assets of interest.• Presented Wood Mackenzie asset and market views to clients both in a marketing and research capacity.

• Acted as the lead subject matter expert within Cenovus on well integrity issues, responsible for improving well reliability to reduce CapEx and OpEx for producing assets.• Responsible for identifying new technology that could decrease corporate exposure to well failures in prevention, detection, or mitigation. • Obtained extensive working engineering knowledge of all elements of oilfield engineering principles, including drilling, cementing, completions, reservoir, production, and abandonment.• Achieved an 80% decrease in production well failure rates year-over-year from 2013 to 2014.

Performed several consulting projects for major pipeline companies as both project manager and technical lead. In general, consulting projects were in integrity management and risk mitigation for existing pipeline infrastructure.
